California’s Gold Ribbon Awarded to Three Green Dot Schools

Today we are excited to learn that two of Green Dot Public Schools California’s high schools, Ánimo Inglewood and Ánimo Leadership, have received a Gold Ribbon Schools Award from the California State Board of Education. Ánimo Inglewood and Ánimo Leadership join Ánimo Pat Brown in the honor of receiving the State’s highest recognition for educational excellence — Ánimo Pat Brown received a Gold Ribbon in 2015. Schools are invited to apply for consideration of the award if they have demonstrated tremendous gains and exemplary achievements in state standards, particularly in math and English proficiency.

We applaud the work of the school leaders, staff and students at all three schools, as well as all of the coaches and operations team members who support them. Because of their hard work, they have achieved outstanding results:
