The Future of Charter Schools in 140 Characters or Less
The questions surrounding charter schools have shifted over the past 20 years, and there are many ongoing conversations and often confusion over this approach within public education. While we’ve made progress in addressing those questions and concerns from the public, we are faced with an ever evolving debate around charter schools.
In order to try and answer some of these questions, Green Dot Public Schools, along with Third Way, the Century Foundation, and the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools, discussed the future of the charter sector in a Twitter Chat back on March 9. Using the hashtag #NewNormK12, leaders from each organization weighed in on a few key points.
