Updates on School Reopening Tomorrow

Dear Green Dot Families,

We hope this message finds you safe as our city continues to recover from the recent wildfires. After thorough evaluation, we are happy to share that all Green Dot campuses will reopen tomorrow.

What We’ve Done to Prepare

Your child’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. To ensure a safe return to in-person learning, we have taken the following steps:

  • Thorough Cleaning: All campuses have undergone deep cleaning and enhanced sanitation to promote a safe and healthy environment.
  • Air Quality Monitoring: We continue to monitor air quality to ensure it remains safe for in-person activities.  Our facilities teams have tested the air quality in each of our school buildings and they have determined they are safe to reopen.
  • Masks Provided: Masks will be available for students and staff to provide an extra layer of protection.  Please send your child to school with a mask if you have masks at home.

Support for Families

We understand that some families may still be experiencing challenges due to evacuations or other wildfire-related issues. If your family has been impacted and needs support, please contact your school’s office for assistance.

Our Commitment to Learning

We remain committed to providing your children with the safe, nurturing, and supportive environment Green Dot is known for. Your partnership has been invaluable, and we are proud of the resilience and strength our community has shown during this challenging time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your school’s office.

Thank you for trusting us to support your child’s education and well-being. Together, we will continue to stand strong for our scholars, families, and communities.

Warm regards,
Dr. Cristina de Jesus
