Green Dot California ratifies agreements with Teachers Union, Sets April 26 as Reopening Date for all 19 Middle and High Schools in Los Angeles

March 26, 2021 — LOS ANGELES. Green Dot Public Schools California (GDPSCA) ratified agreements with Asociación de Maestros Unidos (AMU) the union that represents Green Dot’s California teachers, that outline reopening plans for Green Dot’s 19 middle and high schools in Los Angeles. Students will have the option to return to in person learning starting on April 26, 2021.


13 Green Dot Students Awarded Dell Scholarship

March 24, 2021 (LOS ANGELES, CA) — 13 Green Dot California students were awarded the Dell Scholarship. Now in its 18th year, the program funded by the Susan & Michael Dell Foundation awards 500 students annually with $20,000 (throughout college), a Dell laptop, textbook credits, and access to mentorship opportunities and additional resources.

March 16, 2021, one of the world’s largest online tutoring services, today announced that Green Dot Public Schools, one of the largest charter school networks in the U.S., has selected to provide online tutoring services for the network’s 11,038 students in grades 6–12 across all 19 of its California charter schools.
