December 15, 2020, LOS ANGELES, CA -- National charter school network, Green Dot Public Schools (Green Dot), celebrates its 20th Anniversary since opening its first school in Inglewood, California in 2000. Green Dot currently serves over 14,000 students in 24 Title I schools across Los Angeles, CA and Memphis, TN. Green Dot has graduated over 17,000 students, and more than 80% of graduates have been accepted to 2- or 4-year colleges. In celebration of the incredible and sustained achievements by the Green Dot community of students, teachers, parents, our classified staff and dedicated partners, we offer 20 inspiring short films of Green Dot graduates and their stories.

100% of Green Dot students qualify for daily free or reduced price meals under federal poverty guidelines. In response to Covid-19, all students have been equipped with laptops and wifi hotspots to continue learning safely. Green Dot continues to prioritize wraparound services, college counseling, and mental health support to all students, and our United Parents & Students initiative continues to enable an active and meaningful community engagement opportunities for all in our national network.
