Para ello, Green Dot ha adoptado la siguiente pol\u00edtica relativa a la matriculaci\u00f3n y educaci\u00f3n de los alumnos sin hogar.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un alumno sin hogar se define como una persona que carece de una residencia nocturna fija, regular y adecuada. Incluye a ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes que:  <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Viven con otra familia\/comparten la vivienda de otras personas, debido a la p\u00e9rdida de la vivienda, a dificultades econ\u00f3micas o a un motivo similar (duplicados o triplicados);  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vivir en un refugio de emergencia o transitorio;  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vivir en un hotel o motel por falta de alojamiento alternativo adecuado;  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vivir en un aparcamiento de caravanas o en un camping por falta de alojamientos alternativos adecuados;  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Haber sido abandonado en un hospital;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tener una residencia nocturna principal que sea p\u00fablica o un lugar privado que no est\u00e9 dise\u00f1ado ni se utilice habitualmente como alojamiento habitual para dormir para seres humanos;  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Viven en coches, parques, espacios p\u00fablicos, edificios abandonados, infraviviendas, estaciones de autob\u00fas o tren, o entornos similares; y  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los ni\u00f1os inmigrantes y los j\u00f3venes no acompa\u00f1ados (j\u00f3venes que no est\u00e1n bajo la custodia f\u00edsica de un progenitor o tutor) pueden considerarse sin hogar si cumplen la definici\u00f3n anterior de \u00absin hogar\u00bb.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La condici\u00f3n de sin techo se determina en colaboraci\u00f3n con el padre o tutor. Hill St., Ste. 600<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><a href=\"tel:3235651600\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">323-565-1600<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El enlace McKinney-Vento se asegurar\u00e1 de que:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Los alumnos sin hogar son identificados por el personal de la escuela y mediante actividades de coordinaci\u00f3n con otras entidades y organismos, y a trav\u00e9s del cuestionario anual sobre vivienda administrado por la Escuela Charter.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los alumnos sin hogar se matriculan y tienen plenas e iguales oportunidades de triunfar en Green Dot. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los alumnos y familias sin hogar reciben los servicios educativos para los que tienen derecho, incluidos los programas Head Start y Even Start, y remisiones a servicios de atenci\u00f3n sanitaria, servicios dentales, servicios de salud mental, servicios de vivienda y otros servicios apropiados.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se informa a los padres\/tutores de las oportunidades educativas y afines disponibles para sus hijos y se les ofrecen oportunidades significativas de participar en la educaci\u00f3n de sus hijos.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La notificaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica de los derechos educativos de los menores sin hogar se difunde en lugares frecuentados por padres, tutores y j\u00f3venes no acompa\u00f1ados, como escuelas, albergues, bibliotecas p\u00fablicas y comedores sociales, de manera y forma comprensible para los padres y tutores de los j\u00f3venes sin hogar y de los j\u00f3venes no acompa\u00f1ados. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las disputas sobre inscripciones\/admisiones se median de acuerdo con la ley, los estatutos del Punto Verde y la pol\u00edtica del Consejo. Los padres\/tutores y cualquier joven no acompa\u00f1ado est\u00e1n plenamente informados de todos los servicios de transporte, seg\u00fan proceda. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El personal de la escuela subvencionada que preste servicios McKinney-Vento reciba formaci\u00f3n profesional y otro tipo de apoyo.<br \/>\nEl Enlace McKinney-Vento se asegurar\u00e1 de que se ofrezca, al menos una vez al a\u00f1o, formaci\u00f3n relacionada con las pol\u00edticas del programa educativo para personas sin hogar de Green Dot y con el reconocimiento de las se\u00f1ales que indican que los alumnos corren el riesgo de quedarse sin hogar o que lo est\u00e1n experimentando, a los empleados certificados y clasificados que presten servicios a alumnos sin hogar, incluidos, entre otros, los profesores, el personal de apoyo y otro personal escolar que trabaje con alumnos.<br \/>\nEl Enlace Escolar McKinney-Vento informar\u00e1 a los empleados certificados y clasificados de la disponibilidad de formaci\u00f3n y servicios que el Enlace Escolar McKinney-Vento ofrece para ayudar en la identificaci\u00f3n y prestaci\u00f3n de servicios a los alumnos en riesgo de quedarse sin hogar o que lo est\u00e9n experimentando.    <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Enlace McKinney-Vento colabora con los coordinadores estatales y el personal comunitario y escolar responsable de la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios educativos y afines a los ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes sin hogar.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los j\u00f3venes no acompa\u00f1ados est\u00e1n matriculados en la escuela; tienen oportunidades de cumplir las mismas normas acad\u00e9micas estatales exigentes que el Estado establece para otros ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes; y se les informa de su condici\u00f3n de estudiantes independientes y de que los j\u00f3venes pueden obtener ayuda del Enlace McKinney-Vento para recibir la verificaci\u00f3n de dicha condici\u00f3n a efectos de la Solicitud Gratuita de Ayuda Federal para Estudiantes.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Departamento de Educaci\u00f3n de California (\u00abCDE\u00bb) publica una lista con la informaci\u00f3n de contacto de los Enlaces de Educaci\u00f3n para los Sin Techo del estado, que est\u00e1 disponible en: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ca.gov\/sp\/hs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.cde.ca.gov\/sp\/hs\/<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Green Dot tambi\u00e9n admitir\u00e1\/inscribir\u00e1 inmediatamente a un joven sin hogar que desee matricularse en una escuela Green Dot, si el joven re\u00fane los requisitos para asistir a la escuela y sujeto a la capacidad de la escuela y de conformidad con los procedimientos establecidos en los estatutos de Green Dot y la pol\u00edtica del Consejo.
