The newest high school in the Green Dot network, Ánimo City of Champions Charter High School is a safe haven for students, holding fast to the mission to prepare all students for college, leadership and life. We serve families from a cross-section of racial, cultural, and socioeconomic spectrums, enrolling students in grades 9 and 10, 11.

One of the original schools in the Green Dot network, Ánimo Inglewood Charter High School, has become a model of Green Dot success with more graduates attending UCLA than those from any other school, public or private, in the city. Ánimo Inglewood serves a diverse community, enrolling students in grades 9 through 12.
About Green Dot Public Schools
Green Dot Public Schools is a network of public charter schools in Los Angeles, California; Memphis, Tennessee; and Tacoma, Washington. Our middle schools offer grades six to eight, and our high schools offer grades nine to 12. Our schools are free and open to all students, like other public schools.
Eight Green Dot high schools are ranked among the top 10% of schools nationally by US News & World Report, with four being in the top 5%.
Students enter Green Dot schools testing in the bottom 10% but are matching the graduation rate for the state.
These same students are 4 times more likely to graduate college-ready than students in neighboring schools.
