Green Dot Ambassadors form a dynamic community of professional and philanthropic trailblazers at the front line of public education. Every Ambassador takes a meaningful philanthropic journey, as we help you define and fulfill your philanthropic goals.
Green Dot Ambassadors also enjoy access to top leaders in education and philanthropy. As part of a powerful network of supporters from across the country, Ambassadors receive invitations to exclusive events, preparation for future Board of Director roles with non-profit organizations, and special recognition within Green Dot.
Ambassadors commit to a pledge of $5,000 or more (individually and/or through corporate matches and crowd-funding) each year. We provide the education, tools and opportunities, and Ambassadors provide critical operating and programmatic support for Green Dot’s network of schools throughout Los Angeles, Memphis, and Beaumont.
Hands-on Philanthropy
Ambassadors practice philanthropy that is focused, urgent and effective. Our robust calendar of opportunities bridges the gap between Green Dot students and the most influential political, philanthropic and business leaders in the community, while also facilitating connections between fellow Ambassadors.
Ambassadors give or raise a minimum annual gift of $5000 to help Green Dot pilot and scale innovative initiatives creating pathways for students to and through college.
