Senior Send Off Celebration
Launch to College is a rite-of-passage event that transitions Green Dot's seniors to their next endeavors. The event allows graduates to network with others who are pursuing the same interests, offers workshops on managing personal finances, and introduces successful past alums.
Summer Workshops
Summer workshops for new graduates that offer additional support for the transition to life after high school. Topics include financial literacy, tips on college registration and creating a schedule, tips from alums on choosing a career path, and maintaining financial aid throughout 4 years of college.
College and Career Conference
Green Dot Alums who are enrolled in college participate in alumni panels, sharing their stories with current Green Dot sophomores, offering them perspective on life after high school.
Summer Overnight
During the Summer Overnight at Cal State LA, alumni are exposed to residential life and access the college orientation resources, academic counseling, and campus services. Current Cal State LA students help alums register for classes and build on-campus relationships with the overnight cohort.
