LOS ANGELES, CA - Green Dot Public Schools California (GDPSCA), in consultation with the California and Los Angeles Departments of Public Health, will close all 20 schools of schools across greater LA, effective on Monday, March 16th. School will reopen on Monday, April 13th. The last two weeks of this closure, from March 30th - April 10th, will be Spring Break.

Dr. Cristina de Jesus (President & CEO, GDPSCA) says: “Evidence indicates that school closures are critical in the fight against the further spread of Covid-19. To protect the health of our communities and those around us, it is our responsibility to close our schools.

We are regularly updating our staff, students, and parents with information and will continue to support them during this challenge. Serving our community is our top priority. Our students will continue to learn, receive breakfast and lunch, and be supported as we continue as a resource to our communities.”
